- Do you have a internet?
- Wireless Lan (wi-fi) is available at the lobby and all guest rooms for free of charge.
※If many guests use it at the same time period, it may have difficulty in connection or take time to connect.
- Do you have ATM (automated teller machine) in the hotel?
- We don’t have ATM in our facility. There is one at the convenient store where is 5 minutes by car.
- Do you have a Laundromat in the hotel?
- We don’t have a Laundromat in our facility. There is a Laundromat 10 min. away by car.
- Is it possible to charge the electric vehicle at your hotel?
- Yes, it is available to charge, and there are 2 private use parking lots for electric vehicles. Please free to ask us about it. Staff will assist you.
- Do you charge for the parking?
- It is free of charge if you stay at our hotel.
About guest room.
- Is there any smoking rooms?
- All the guest room has been non-smoking since April 1st, 2018. The smoking space is available on the 1st floor of the hotel, please use it freely.
- We reserved the rooms on both Toyo-tei and Hosyu-tei. Can we come and go each rooms?
- I’m afraid not. The Hosyu-tei is private hotel for the guests who stay at Hosyu-tei.
- Can I invite my friends into our room who are a one day trip?
- I’m afraid not. They cannot go into the room; however, you can meet them at the lobby.
- Can we stay a Japanese-style room (8 Jo) at Toyo-tei with 5 people?
- I’m afraid not. This room capacity is 4 people at maximum. If you would like to stay in this type of room with more than 4 people, please reserve two rooms. If you would like to know room capacity in different types of room, please feel free to contact us.
- I would like to buy some CDs which were in this room. Where can I buy it?
- There are two CDs in the room, titled “Ongaku Kiko Tokachino” and “Tokachi-no Mori-kara.” You can purchase them at the gift shop in the hotel. Please feel free to ask about it.
- Is there any rooms that I can stay with my pets?
- I’m afraid not. There is no room available with pets.
- Can I stay the hotel with assistance dog?
- No problem to stay with your assisting dog. If you come to stay the hotel with your assisting dos, will you let us know in advance? We will do our best for you to stay more comfortable with your assisting dog in the room and during the meal.
- Is it easy for elderly people to take an open-air bath at Toyo-tei and Hosyu-tei?
- There are rental items such as supporting chair and auxiliary step during bathing for elderly people to take a bath comfortably. Also, there is a rental wheelchair and simple bed as well. Please don’t hesitate to ask us about it.
About large public baths
- Can a baby or a little child take a bath at the public baths?
- Yes, they can take baths as long as adult comes along with a baby or a little child. However, child who is shorter than 120cm cannot take a garden open-air bath because it is deeper than 120cm.
Stay at the hotel
- Is there any convenience store near the hotel?
- Yes, there is one and it’ll take 5 minutes by walking. If you go to the east by the Dodo route 73 from the hotel, there is a convenience store called “Seicomart.” (Open 7:00 a.m. ~ 12:00 p.m.)
- How can I go to the Hosyu-tei and Toyo-tei from Obihiro City?
- If you drive from Obihiro to Makubetu & Ikeda direction on the National Route 38, you’ll see the signboard of Tokachi-gawa Onsen on your left. (There are other signboards of other hotels) After turning left from the traffic light, go straight and go over the bridge called Hakucho Oohashi. Then, you’ll see the hotel on your right. After you cross the bridge, turn right on the traffic light. Then, turn right again to go to the front entrance of the Hotels.
- Arrived the hotel before Check-In time, 3:00 p.m.. Can I go to the room before Check-In time?
- If cleaning is finished and the room is ready before 3:00 p.m., I can invite you to the room ahead of the time. Only baggage can be checked-in, If you prefer. If the room is not ready yet, not only you can wait at the lobby or the lounge, also you can take the public baths from 1:00 p.m.
- Can I eat a lunch in the hotel?
- Lunch is all on a subscription basis, so you need to make a reservation in advance. There are some restaurants around the hotel. If you would like to try it, a hotel staff will guide you how to get there.
- Before checking in, can I send my luggage on ahead using a delivery service ?
- After you made a reservation at the hotel and let a staff knows about it in advance, please send it to below address. Your package will be kept for you. (Please kindly understand that the package cannot be received if the package was sent a parcel C.O.D)

- Is postal service available in the hotel?
- At the gift shop “Tamatebako,” we take postal services. Also, we prepare several different size of boxes and bags. (Fee charging)
- Can I only take a baths at the hotel?
- Yes, it is popular to take a bath as a day trip. Please enjoy proud Moor Onsen. It opens from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and fee for adult is 1,500 yen and child (1 year old to elementary school student) is 500 yen. Face towels and bath towels are renting for free of charge. During the busy season, we may set the limit of bathing time. Please kindly understand this situation.
- I will stay the hotel with kids. Do you have kids’ Yukata?
- Yes, we prepare both Yukata and Samui for your kids. Yukata has 3 different types of sizes such as large (130cm), medium (115cm) and small (100cm). Samui has 2 types of sizes such as medium (120cm) and small (100cm.)
- Can I bring some drinks into the banquet hall?
- Please refrain from carry-on drinks including the drinks you bought in the facility to the banquet hall, restaurant and dining area.
About Aromatherapy Salon Raffine
- Where is salon located?
- There is a salon at the premium lounge on the 3rd floor of the Hosyu-tei. Also, there is another salon at the aroma lounge on the 2nd floor of the Sanyoan. We will guide either salons for you. (I’m afraid that you cannot specify the salon) There is a booth to take a short course massage as well.
- What kind of treatment course do you have at the salon?
- There are several courses such as “body treatment course” and “facial treatment course.” If you would like to take both of them, we have “body & facial treatment course” as well.
If you would like to give it as a present or reward, “La Rose” (body & facial treatment course) is recommended for you. If you don’t have enough time to take a treatment, we prepare some short treatment course. Please feel free to ask about it to our therapist.
- Do I need to prepare a change of clothes?
- No spare clothes is needed. Please come to the salon with your relaxed clothes. We prepare clothes (a gown and a paper underwear) during the body treatment. If you stay at the hotel, you can come to the salon with Yukata and slippers.
- Can I eat meals before treatment?
- It may a burden to your body, please avoid it if you feel hungry or full of stomach.
It is recommended to take a treatment 30 minutes after the meal.
- Is it better to take a Onsen before a therapy?
- If you have time, it is better to take Onsen before therapy because it warms up your body, increase your metabolism, and absorb oil into your body more.
If you will take Onsen after therapy, it is recommended to take Onsen a couple hours later of therapy because the essential oil will absorb into your body slowly.
- What types of aroma oil (essential oil) do you use?
- It is a essential oil which is brand of “Doctor Valnet." The plants of raw materials are organically grown and it is selected carefully from the flowers, leaves, barks, and roots. Also, there is no preservative or artificial coloring added into the essential oil. It is safe and trusted oil for you.
- I have sensitive skin and allergy. Can I take a salon?
- Yes, you may take the therapy. We will listen and ask you about your skins and body conditions during the counselling before the therapy to supply the best treatment for you. (You may not take a therapy under some cases.) Please feel free to ask our therapist.
- When I take a facial treatment, is it okay to leave makeup on?
- We recommend you to remove the makeup before treatment.
- Is it okay to take a therapy with eyelash extension?
- It is okay to take a facial treatment with eyelash extension because a therapist will be careful to not apply the oil around the eyes. However, if you get eyelash extension on that day, we’ll recommend to not take a facial treatment on the same day.
- Can I take a treatment during pregnancy?
- 1st and 3rd trimester pregnancy, we may ask you to not take a therapy. (During the 2nd trimester pregnancy, you may take one. Please ask out therapist for details). If you would like to take Bridal course, please ask our therapist.
- Can a man receive the therapy?
- Of course. If you would like to take a therapy alone or with your lover, you can receive it.
- It is possible to take a therapy with multiple people?
- Yes, it’s possible. However, it may not acceptable multiple people depending on the date or time; therefore, please contact us as soon as you can. (First contact, first served)
- Can I take a treatment without staying the hotel?
- Of course, you can get a therapy. If you choose a therapy which costs more than 6,000 yen, a day trip bathing fee will be free. We recommend advanced reservation.
- When is the last day of cancel or change the reservation without penalty?
- Please kindly contact us a day prior to the reservation day. If you cancel or change on the scheduled day of the reservation, there is a penalty fee which is 50% of course price.
- Can I pay by credit card?
- Yes, you can make a payment by a credit card or cash. If you stay at the hotel, you just need to sign and pay it all at once when you check-out.
- Is there a gift ticket of the therapy?
- Yes, we can prepare a gift ticket for any courses you like. (Expiration date for use is 6 months.)
