Bear Mountain in Sahoro

It is sightseeing spot where you can see Ezo grizzly bears in the Sahoro forest.

Karikachi-kougen Ecoorokko train

Track maintenance cycles run at the Shinnai station, former Karikachi Line.
800m long track is prepared including railroad crossing and a tunnel.

Tokachi-gaoka Park

It is the park with a large flower clock “Hanack,” 18m diameter and 10m10cm of the second hand of the clock, a large open space with grass, and wooden athletic playground equipments.
You can take Moor Onsen foot bath for free while watching the flower clock.
※The best time of watching “Hanack” is between spring through autumn.

Tokachi-gaoka sightseeing tower

The sightseeing tower located over the Tokachi-gaoka park. You can view Tokachi River and Tokachi-gawa Onsen area under the park, and you can get a full view of the vast Tokachi plains and Hidaka Mountain range.
It is one of the beautiful spots for sunset.

Several shops and gourmets which ingredients are made by Tokachi.
It’s located racetrack in site and it’s one of the sightseeing spots where you can see many dishes of Tokachi.
You can buy fresh vegetables directly from farmers at the market and you can eat French food, Buta-don which is rice bowl topped with grilled pork with sweet sauces, and Jingisukan which is Mongolian mutton barbecue and it is one of the soul food in Hokkaido, at “Kitchen.”

Kofuku (happiness) Station

This train station became famous by a catchphrase of Kofuku Station “Happiness from the Country of Love.” Originally Kofuku Station was used as Japan National Railway until discontinue a railroad line, and two diesel railcars, platform, and the station were preserved until today.
Currently, this station has become a “Railroad park,” and it is visited by many guests.

Aikoku Station

This train station became famous by a catchphrase “Happiness from the Country of Love” as well as Kofuku Station
Currently, Aikoku Station serves as a Transportaion Memorial Center where tickets, panels, and a steam locomotive are on display.

Tokachi Hill is located on the hill in Makubetsu Town, and it has theme of “Farm & Food.”

Manabe Garden

Manabe Garden structures three themes of gardens and the area of the garden is 24,000 tsubo (1.96 acres)

Rokka-no Mori (Rokka Garden)

Tokachi Nuppuku Garden is about 4 hectares (9.88 acre) of handmade garden.

One of the famous sightseeing farm in Nakasatsunai-nura.
There is a cafe and shop where you can buy handmade fresh cheeses made in workshop inside the farm, and you can watch the process of producing cheese by the glass window by factory tour.

Pyoutann-no-taki (Pyoutan Waterfall)

One of the sightseeing spot in Nakasatsunai-mura, and you can watch dynamic Pyoutan Waterfall from the bridge.

Tausyubetsu River Bridge

This bridge appears after lake froze around January because the water level sinks. Around May, the water level goes up and bridge will be sunk.
In the summer, the bridge sinks under the lake.
This unique bridge is located only here in Japan, and it’s called “miracle bridge” because it’s covered and uncovered by the water level of lake depending on season.

Nakasatsunai Michi-no-eki

The buckwheat flour which is used these places is made in Sahoro Garden in Shintoku (own company) and Botan buckwheat is used. Just milling buckwheat is used for handmade Soba noodle at the restaurant.
